These terms govern your use of PitchKit, a service operated by DigitalBits Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, registering a player, or administering a federation or club on PitchKit, you agree to be bound by them.
PitchKit is intended for: registered amateur and semi-pro football federations and their member clubs operating in South Africa; players, parents and guardians authorised to register with those federations; and the coaches, secretaries, referees and committee members acting on the federation’s behalf.
PitchKit is offered to federations on a per-active-player-per-season subscription. Pricing is agreed in writing with each federation directly. Fees are paid by the federation; players and parents pay nothing to PitchKit.
Each federation operating on PitchKit is responsible for: enforcing its own code of conduct; running its disciplinary process fairly and consistently; handling member queries promptly; and meeting its joint-responsible-party obligations under POPIA. PitchKit provides tooling; it does not adjudicate disputes.
You may not use PitchKit to: post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing or pornographic; impersonate another person or federation; misuse personal information of other users; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform; reverse-engineer or scrape large portions of the service without written permission.
We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime measured at the application layer. Planned maintenance is announced in advance to federation admins. We do not guarantee uptime during peak match-day windows but make best efforts to schedule maintenance outside them.
A federation may terminate its subscription at the end of any billing period with 30 days’ notice. Player data is exported in machine-readable form (CSV or JSON) and the federation’s workspace is decommissioned. We retain anonymised audit logs for seven years for regulatory purposes.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms. Where possible we give notice and an opportunity to remedy.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to any user for any claim arising out of the use of PitchKit is limited to the fees paid by that user (or, for players and parents who pay no fees, the fees paid by their federation) in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Gauteng, South Africa, except where mandatory consumer-protection legislation reserves jurisdiction elsewhere.
If we materially change these terms we will notify federation admins by email at least 30 days in advance. The current version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.
